Hi Ann! Annie Oakley certainly IS an interesting historical character! We have so many characters that were incarcerated in the Prison, that we keep most of our interpretation of historic personalities to those that directly pertain to the site’s history. Glad to hear you have good memories of the Prison – thanks for sharing!
Hi, we used to live in Wyoming (in Laramie) I always enjoyed taking the kids up to the Prison and we enjoyed the wine tasting there one year. I also brought lots of visitors. I am sad not to see more pictures (or maybe I can’t find them) I also would love some history on the niece of Annie Oakley. I just watched the PBS special and I think that would be a cool thing to add to the museum. I also am aware that there was an auction of Annie Oakley memorabilia from some relatives in Los Angeles. Thanks! Ann
